Another year has passed! Time flies when your having fun! And so much has happened over the past year. What didn't change tho is that I still can't reveal anything on what I'm doing so far at Laika, BUT The new movie has been announced a few months ago and the first looks and trailers are out on the internet! the next film of Laika is called 'Missing Link' and will hit theaters on the 12th of April and I personally think it look wonderful!!

Besides that the last few projects that I worked on back when I was still operating in The Netherlands have also released. They are Gerlando Infuso's 'The Proposal' or 'La Bague au Doigt' as they name it in Belgium and Louis & Luca - Mission to the Moon or Solan og Ludvig : Månelyst i Flåklypa as they name it in Norway.

The Proposal is going around on Animation Festivals right now for your eyes to see! And It just won a Magritte at the Belgian Film Awards!! I've done a lot of work on the puppets, making molds and casts of the body parts and figuring headmechanics out that would service as the ask of replaceable silicone faces.

Louis & Luca released in theaters in Norway in September and is also going around on Animation Festivals.

I had the Lead on one of the new characters that didn't appear in the 2 previous movies designing the headmechanics and building them using 3D printed parts with some scripts that I developed in Maya using Python programming language to streamline the workflow. I made a lot of molds and casts for the head and body and 3D modeled the disk part of the all the spacesuits and practically sculpted/molded/casted the air tubes going into them.

Over the year I also had a few interviews which was a lot of fun to do!

It has been a while since I first made this website and a lot has happened in that time. I worked on a some more projects at Pedri Animation which I really enjoyed working for and learned so much! But In July 2017 I moved to Portland (Oregon) because I got a job offered at Laika Studios!! It has been a wild half year here in the USA and I want to show you so badly what I am doing at Laika but I can't do that until the movie that I worked on comes out in the Theaters, until then I will keep posting pictures of work that I did at Pedri Animation because some of those project are coming out this year so keep an eye on my website if your interested!

I Finished my personal project 'Scrooge' a while back but I never got to actually posting it on my website so here it is!

I never got to finish any of my personal project because i was always learning a particalur part of a build, but this time I really wanted to go all the way

I sculpted the statue in chavant and molded all the parts in platinum silicone. I casted all the parts in SmoothCast 205 and handpaint the model, using the airbrush for the base coat. the Light is designed in 3D and 3D printed in ZULTRAT, I Molded and casted the parts in smoothcast 205.

Welcome to my website, feel free to look around and contact me if you are interested in working with me. The website is still under construction and I will continue to add pictures and video's of my latest projects I worked on.

Currently I'm working full time freelance as a modelmaker at Pedri Animation making moulds, casts and head mechs for stop motion animation puppets and I also provide them with 3D prototyping support if necessary.

Working with a lot of experienced professionals gave me the opportunity to quickly evolve my abilities into being a modelmaker, and combining their knowledge with mine as a graduated 3D computer generalist I am always seeking for other, different, new, better, faster paths to get to the end product.
